Announcing Summer Stock Academy

Summer Stock Academy is a new program serving pre-school through 9th graders throughout Indianapolis. While our cast of Peter Pan and A Chorus Line rehearses, the younger generation of highly interested students can attend morning and afternoon camps focusing on singing, dancing, and acting for musical theatre. The staff of Summer Stock Stage will work with the Lost Boys of Neverland in our first June camp and prepare students for their Summer Stock debut in our main stage production of Peter Pan. Older students can join us for a week of intense musical theatre workshops with staff members including Summer Stock's Music Director, Jeanne Bowling, and Artistic Director, Emily Holloway. In July students perform their own musical review of Annie, Jr. or School House Rock, Jr. Regardless of age or experience, you can express your inner star and be a part of SSS this summer.

Registration opens March 2012. Click here to register!

You can hear, in the words of our students, just what an impact Summer Stock Stage is having on their lives:

"The theater knowledge I have gained will help me get accepted to a college, where I plan to major in musical theater. Plus, the friendships I have made with students all over Indiana has been the highlight of my summer. I am a better performer because of Summer Stock Stage."
-Tyler

"My Summer Stock Stage experience has enhanced my other performing arts experiences, such as show choir competitions, since I know the people we are competing with and can cheer them on."
-Betsy

"Summer Stock Stage is one of the best things that ever happened to me."
-Mara

"Summer Stock Stage to me means an opportunity to improve on my acting, singing, dancing, and performing skills throughout the summer at a higher level than is expected in high school musicals."
-Katie

"Summer Stock Stage was a safe haven where every student had the opportunity
to feel both welcome and challenged."
-Dane

Summer Stock Stage is a 501(c)(3) non-profit summer theatre program for performers ages 13-19 in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
